Banana Raspberry Soft Serve

Banana Raspberry Soft Serve (aka heaven)

Every foodie lately seems to be gushing on about how amazing banana soft serve is. I am now one of those bloggers. After a long hot day, this is the absolute best treat to indulge in. It tastes so good that it doesn’t seem right that it is good for you, but alas my friends, it is! :) I have included my recipe below for my “Banana Raspberry Soft Serve”.  Try it out and let me know what you think!

Banana Raspberry Soft Serve

A delicious close up

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • A few raspberries
  • A pinch of flax meal
  • 1/4 cup of granola (or sprinkled on top)
  • A pinch of brown sugar

Directions

  1. Mash up your frozen banana (or use your magic bullet like I did!) and mix with ground flaxseed or flaxseed meal.
  2. Add granola, pinch of brown sugar, and raspberries.
  3. Take a picture (because it is so beautiful) and enjoy!

Have you tried banana soft serve yet? What are your favorite toppings?

How GOOD is this?? I have it just about every night. My favorite things to add are peanut butter (swirl it in) and dark chocolate chips or cacao.

I’m one of those bloggers! Ha!

Chocolate protein powder and (powdered) peanut butter for me. It’s my latest post workout obsession!

I tried banana softserve once, but I think I let it run too long in the mixer because it wasn’t very cold and kinda runny by the time I poured it out. I definitely want to try it again though! Yours looks fantastic (:

I STILL have not tried it! I plan on adding some maple syrup + granola when I do, though! That looks delicious!

I want to try this but I don’t have a food processor and am afraid to attempt it in the blender. I should probably own a food processor though…haha

Ugggh, I want to like this, I really do. But mine doesn’t whip up as great as everyone says. The texture was really disgusting, like runny bananas.

What am I doing wrong?!?! I’m going to blog about it later today/tomorrow….. maybe you can see how sad mine looked haha. Yours looks good though! Love adding berries to any/everything :)

I’ve tried banana soft serve and I LOVE IT! Seriously, I have it almost every day. :) My favorite way to eat it is blended with carob powder and then topped with chocolate chips. So.good.

Ohhhh I love banana soft serve! I still can’t get over the fact how creamy it is despite it being JUST bananas! I tried making strawberry-banana soft serve too and is equally tasty. I like to eat mine with plain yogurt ’cause I love the sweet + tangy combination. Or if I’m feeling indulgent, I top it with some chocolate syrup and mini choc chips :-)

I’m beginning to think that I am the only person who hasn’t tried banana soft serve. I think the texture that I imagine just creeps me out… like extra cold baby food? Please correct me if I’m wrong and I’ll venture to the dark side.
