I can honestly say I have never stared at someone’s ass in amazement for as long as I did in my first Zumba class this morning. It was like her butt was on strings; like it was a puppet. Crazy. My new fitness goal is to be able to do that LOL. So here are my thoughts on it.
Is it worth the hype? YES! It was one of the best workouts I have had in a long time, I sweat my butt off but had a blast doing it. While I didn’t think the time “flew by” like people said, I had an awesome time. My biggest fear going in to it was that I wasn’t going to know what to do or that I was going to look silly. What I learned is that you really don’t need to worry about doing it perfect or not knowing what you are doing because a lot of people don’t. Looking around the room, if someone was having a hard time with a move they were just doing their own thing, which is totally ok.
Was it hard? Yes. But I think anyone of any fitness level could do it, and enjoy it. As soon as I got home I ordered the Zumba Fitness Total Body Transformation System DVD Set. which was a little pricey, but I can’t always find a class that works with my schedule and I really enjoyed doing it so this was the next best thing.
