Nope, the title was not a typo.
These foods have been proven (when eaten in moderation as a replacement to an unhealthy counterpart) to help you shed those last unwanted pounds.
Start swapping out some of your current foods for these bad boys, and start looking forward to stepping onto the scale at the gym! (Photo source)

I snack on almonds and have replaced regular pasta with whole wheat.

When I need to lose a few lbs, I up my water and decrease my dairy. I also keep my starchy carbs in my first 1-3 meals of the day.

I love making barley as a nice switch from rice or quinoa. I just bought a big package of it and have really been enjoying it!

Great advice! I would add green tea to that list. Its become part of my afternoon snack because it tastes like something, fills me up and cleanses out my system.

Although I still want to lose weight, I don’t need to.. so I’m not sure what foods would help with those last pesky pounds. What I do know? I happily eat most of the food on that list! Except the bison, fish and milk.
