Use the colors of the rainbow to help you reach your minimum of two services of fruit and three servings of veggies per day!

(Photo source). Not only will it serve as a great reminder and get you to try new things, but these colorful foods are known to be jam packed with vitamins and antioxidants to help keep you healthy. Here is how you can do it:
Red: Red bell pepper, Tomato, Strawberries, Raspberries, Cherries, Cranberries, Grapefruit, Radish, Red apple, Watermelon.
Orange: Tangerines, Sweet potato, Carrots, Peach, Pumpkin.
Yellow: Banana, Lemon, Yellow pepper, Zucchini, Squash, Corn, Star fruit, Pineapple.
Green: Green pepper, Zucchini, Kale, Cucumber, Leafy Vegetables, String beans, Artichokes, Asparagus, Avocado, Broccoli, Brussel sprouts, Celery, Green apples, Kiwi, Lettuce, Lime, Spinach, Peas.
Blue: Blueberries, Figs.
Purple: Eggplant, Grapes, Plums, Pomegranates, Prune, Raisins.

Love the picture! Such a great visualization! I love berries of all colors, asparagus, pomegranates, eggplant, brussels sprouts….just to name a few. I strive for at least five servings a day….I eat a big salad for lunch and 2 servings with dinner.

I’m really good at getting my fruit servings each day. I love fruit and can eat it at every meal. It’s the veggies I struggle with.
